"Primrose Reprise"-- Rivka Nipper 2007

I started drawing this on my first or second day as a freshman in college. It was my feeble attempt to look cool, so that cool people would think I was cool and maybe talk to me (drawing in public is my favorite social crutch). It worked, to the extent that it made me my first friend, Kriss, a lovely fellow with rockstar hair. I gave him the picture to use as a door sign.
Making door-signs became A Thing That I Did, and later, one of my dorm-mates remembered me when her awesome programer boyfriend needed someone to do the graphics for his phone game. So what started as a way to avoid talking to people eventually landed me my first art job.
